john has recieved a First Music commision from the New York Youth Symphony to premiere at Carnegie Hall in May of 2013
Houston Grand Opera premiere New Arrivals
Houston Grand Opera's HGOco has commissioned john to write the chamber opera New Arrivals for their Song of Houston.
